definitely worth investing for if you want your alignment to be accurate and true. fair price tag gives you peace of mind that you're fully aligned rather than settling for 8-9 out of 10 certainty when using a rod-based alignment tool (eg motion pro etc.)
I wish I'd wasted some on this a long time ago.
This tool is just damn fine. Using it means you can be sure that you've got the alignment right. Not just close - but RIGHT. It saves a lot of time and fiddling about.
I have been aligning m/bike chains for years! where was this device back in the 60,s and70,s. what a piece of equipment to use! so easy, thought my chain was running true. picked up a 2,7mm offset to the right, so easy and accurate.
great product. so much quicker than other methods of alignment.
The laser chain alignment tool takes all the guess work, straight edges & string lines out of chain adjustment on old and new motorcycles, great tool.
Take the guesswork out of chain alignment with this handy bit of gear. Never ever rely on the markers again, perfectly straight everytime.
Small and simple but often the bst ideas are. Once you get your head around how this thing works you wonder why they aren't more popular and everyone has one. Maybe it's because chains last longer now. They would and will last longer if everythig is aligned properly and this helps you to do that. The only small gripe is I would like it to be magnetised to enable use of both hands.
So I got my chain alignment laser today. (Seriously fast turn around I'll add) anyway 2 x R1 not bad but definitely not true aligned, but the newer GSR what a shocker, a full mark out on the guide indicators. So get one, that's all.
