About PicoBNC+
The new PicoBNC+ connection has been developed to bring to the market a unique combination of support for legacy and 3rd party probes with a simple and powerful system to provide new intelligent probes for the future. The new PicoBNC+ connection is a plug-and-play design – push to connect and that’s it! The connectors use colour coding on the plastic shell that can be matched by interactive LED’s on the scope giving both an indication of what is expected and confirming what is connected. Powered probes are automatically recognized in the software and the scope set up accordingly making it even faster for a technician to use the PicoScope 4225A and allows them to concentrate on testing what is in front of them.
The PicoBNC+ interface retains the BNC connection for best high-frequency analog response, but adds digital and power interfaces. The new colour coded plastic shells on the probes give us enough room in the housing for electronics which opens up limitless possibilities for future probes. At the same time, all existing BNC probes can still be used.
A new feature with the PicoBNC+ probes is Probe Mismatch. The new PicoBNC+ probes are recognized in software, which saves this information with a PicoScope data file. When the file is subsequently opened, the software can tell which probes are connected and the user will be prompted if the connected probes are different to the probes saved in the original settings file. (PS7 only).

By far the best charger we have in the shop. Was amazed at two lipo battery's that were both bellow 0.5v and both were able to be reset and charged and now working as new in their respective bikes. The added bonus is the power supply function for when we are flashing ecu's or running diagnostics on Ducati's we can maintain full power to the bike without the need to run slave batteries and chargers.
Perfect for our shop and diverse range of bike we have to work on.
We try for log time to find charger with Power-supply mode so we can tune can run the diagnostics with out power loss

We have recently purchased the IDC5 TEXA to support / Diagnose our Ducati Multistrada Enduro for personal use. We have found that Dealing with TEXA Aus easy and very helpful,
Using the TEXA and installing the TEXA was a straight forward process and the assistance that has been provided is second to none ,
The device has been able to assist in the Diagnoses of a fault that has seen the bike at the dealer for a extended period of time, this has seen the bike returned with performance issues that the owner was not happy with.
With most modern day equipment electronics are controlling the engine , we have found that the TEXA IDC5 is able to view and monitor these parameters to assist in diagnosing faults,
What we discovered is that we had no engine codes but after utilising the TEXA we were able to narrow down the fault to a sensor that was not reading correctly, this was only achieved by utilising the TEXA IDC5.
Moving forward we see our selves utilising the device on our current bikes for service interval resets and any major work that is required.
This is a tool that is a must have for a business that is dealing with modern day equipment,
by far the single best investment I have made. Working on modern motorcycles and custom builds that we do lets us see exactly what's going on with the bikes and that there are no unseen issues.
With all modern bikes we service we always scan the bike and printout a report to attach to the invoice so the owners know they are receiving the service that we charge for and factual reports, resetting service intervals and diagnosing faults is now super easy.
We have had this for many yeas now and if we come up against a fault that we haven't seen before then a quick call to Steve and he's always been great with advice and service is excellent.

I had to wait 3 years from when I first wanted to buy this system until it was in my hands.
Nothing to do with supply, or cost or anything like that, I was working at a major brands dealership and no matter how much I argued that we needed it, and how good it was, they wouldn't let me buy one.
6 months ago I went out on my own, the dream of being an Independent Workshop (complete with Capitals) and the very first piece of major workshop infrastructure I bought was the TEXA diagnostic system.
