OptiMate 4 Quad Program is the ultimate battery charger for the high technology 12V / 12.8V battery in your adventure, touring, cruiser or performance motorcycle, or ATV, Side by Side and personal watercraft.– the world’s most advanced power-sport battery charger!

Quad program:-

program 1 or 3 to charge battery direct or through a live (hot) 12V socket*

program 2 or 4 to charge through BMW CAN-bus controlled 12V socket*.

* Don't forget to purchase your optional cable accessory if required to connect to accessory socket. - See below

CAN bus mode is ONLY required when using with BMW motorcycle when connecting via the accessory socket fitted from factory.

CAN bus mode is not required when using OptiMate 4 Quad program with any other vehicle whether it has CAN bus or not.

The CAN bus feature is purely to force the BMW accessory socket to stay live, otherwise the ECU shuts down the accessory socket after around 15 minutes. This means your OptiMate will not be maintaining your battery.
