The OptiMate Lithium 0.8A charger is also suitable for use with Ducati Motorcycles using Lithium Ion starter batteries (LiFePo4).

Another advantage of the OptiMate version is the BMS reset function.

This means that should your battery become flat, maybe you left the ignition on, or an accessory attached, the battery will go into self protection mode.

OptiMate Lithium operates according to a fully automatic microprocessor-controlled algorithm. Once the battery is fully charged, voltage decreases to maintenance level. If any electronic accessories of the motorcycle should make battery voltage decrease below optimum charge, the equipment will automatically switch back to charging mode in order to restore proper voltage level.
