Great product. At 64 years old and eye site not what it used to be. Takes all that back and forth guess work out of the equation. Moto tech gave great support with questions I had about over seas shipping .

Awesome instrument! After previously fiddling with different methods and tools for chain alignment (and then still not 100% sure), this tool indicates alignment down to the millimetre in a few seconds! Seriously, put it on the sprocket and within literally 3 seconds you can see if the alignment is straight. A bit expensive but cheaper than a drive train chewed up by misalignment.

definitely worth investing for if you want your alignment to be accurate and true. fair price tag gives you peace of mind that you're fully aligned rather than settling for 8-9 out of 10 certainty when using a rod-based alignment tool (eg motion pro etc.)

I wouldnt be doing my chain and sprocket alignment without it makes every where it should be, dont trust the OEM marks on your swing arm, this tool makes it spot on every time and adds life to your chain and sprockets.

This tool is just damn fine. Using it means you can be sure that you've got the alignment right. Not just close - but RIGHT.
It saves a lot of time and fiddling about.

I have been aligning m/bike chains for years! where was this device back in the 60,s and70,s. what a piece of equipment to use! so easy, thought my chain was running true. picked up a 2,7mm offset to the right, so easy and accurate.

Small and simple but often the bst ideas are. Once you get your head around how this thing works you wonder why they aren't more popular and everyone has one. Maybe it's because chains last longer now. They would and will last longer if everythig is aligned properly and this helps you to do that. The only small gripe is I would like it to be magnetised to enable use of both hands.

So I got my chain alignment laser today. (Seriously fast turn around I'll add) anyway 2 x R1 not bad but definitely not true aligned, but the newer GSR what a shocker, a full mark out on the guide indicators. So get one, that's all.

This is a great little tool for the toolbox. It's very easy to use and more importantly, it really works. I was able to get my chain adjusted to a very fine tolerance. I'm sure the tool will pay for itself with reduced chain and sprocket wear. Certainly, for my track bike it's given me a lot of confidence in the set up. Not a gimmick, a real useful item that should hopefully give me many years of service, especially as it's German manufactured and seems to be of great quality.

This is the only way to adjust ur chain correctly n line up the front n rear sprockets!!!! Do not trust the factory chain alignment mark!!!!!

I ordered a Profi Laser CAT (Dot laser) and it was delivered within 2 days.
Just finished using it and I could not believe a "professional moto mechanic" had my tyre alignment out by so far.
My alignment was out by nearly 1/2 width of the chain easy to see and simple to correct.
For $60 there is no excuse not to have one in your personal tool box.
On my bike you can neither measure from center of axle to center of swingarm pivot nor use a vernier on the adjustment slot (no factory markings), this was the only choice for simple accurate alignment.

I bought this product some time ago, but a reminder email prompted me to write this review.

I received the aligner and promptly went out to my bikes to check their chains. As diligent as I had been I still got it wrong, the aligner showed me I was out. Not a lot, but enough that it would cause premature wear. This is so easy to use and across three bikes will save me money in wear and tear.

Compact and well made, to look at it's identical to the DOT laser i've been using for the last few years but this is much easier to use. A magnetic base would useful, but not really needed. Probably the most useful tool next to the vennier calipers.

i literally just received this product 20 minutes ago and went straight to my bike and 10 minutes later my chain is aligned then walked back inside to hide from the heat!

Very easy to use, like it says in manual some motorcycle sprockets are not as easy to apply but if you put it on a Fixed flat area and roll the wheel and let the laser guide itself then adjust accordingly. Do it save your sprocket and chain.
